I make portraits in a small studio in San Salvador. Maternity, newborns, families — and every so often, someone who needs a good photograph of themselves.
Philosophy
El arte de crear recuerdos isn't just a pretty phrase.
It's a craft. Choosing one light and holding it. Waiting for the gesture instead of asking for it. Taking everything unnecessary out of the frame until only you are left.
A photograph isn't looked at the day it's delivered. It's looked at in ten years, when nobody remembers what that face looked like at that age. I work for that day.
How we work
Five steps, no surprises.
The same route for every session, whether it's a newborn or a corporate portrait.
You tell me the idea, the date and who's coming. We settle wardrobe, mood and time of day.
I set up the light and the backdrop before you arrive. On the day of the session everything is already built.
No rush, with breaks and whatever music you like. With newborns the baby sets the pace.
I show you the full gallery and you choose. Nothing is discarded without you having seen it.
Fine retouching on the selected images and high-resolution digital delivery, in colour and in black and white.
